Johnson Family Pumpkin Carving Contest

So here are some pictures of the pumpkin carving contest we had with Jeff's family. And I would just like to say that last year, I royally stunk at pumpkin carving, and this year....I WON!! I will admit that I looked in Family Circle magazine and found my idea, however I still WON!! I used power tools and everything. I didn't win a prize, just the satisfaction of winning, which was definitely enough for me....

And I wonder why I can't sleep at night...

I only have one after shot because Jeff stole the camera to go hunting so this was all I got....so I guess you will just have to see me in person to get the full effect! I know it's nothing dramatic, but for me, this is the first time I have had short hair since high school.

Okay so I made a drastic change to my look last Thursday and I am SO excited to show everyone what it is...so stay tuned for some pics!! I'm hoping to post them tonight!

I need to rant...

Okay, so Jeff and I live in Mesa High Territory and every time we meet somebody new in our ward, they ask us where we went to high school. Well we both went to Moutain View and the second we tell them that it's, oh I'm sorry...And no, there's no sarcasm involved. These people are serious about being sorry that that is where we went to school.

What's the deal? Once you've graduated high school, does it really matter where you went? Understandably, I will always root for Mountain View to succeed, however I would never hold it against a person for not going to school there. So when these people say things like to me, i want to scream at them and say..."GET A LIFE"!!!

All I'm saying is have a little maturity people. Does it really matter? I think not.
