Goings On

Here is a little update of what has been going on with the Johnson's,

1. I, Jenny, fell in my bathtub and fractured my wrist just about 2 weeks ago. Am I 80 years old you ask? No, just a little bit accident prone and slightly not very smart. I managed to get myself out of the tub, but when my hand started to swell up like a balloon, I though something might be up, so I went to Urgent Care, took some x-rays. Come the Monday after Urgent Care, it was officially broken. So I now know why God created 2 hands.

2. I have had a couple of chances to watch Mr. N over the last little while, and I can honestly say I love this kid.

He is already bigger than this picture I took about a month ago. Man time flies when they are so little. He is such a good baby and I love every chance I get to spend time with him. He and I are good buds and I love him a lot.

3.Chowder, need I say more.

He is such a funny dog. He is so entertaining to watch and play with. I can tell he is getting a little older because he is really starting to calm down, THANK HEAVENS!!! But I he is such a fun addition to my life, and Jeff's. But he would kill me for saying that.

4. Projects. I have some completed projects that I am somewhat proud of. I had an idea and this is what came of them...

fun, huh? I painted, modge podged and everything. Now I just need to get them on the wall. Also, for Christmas my parents gave me this clock that I have been wanting for forever and I finally decided where to put it and Jeff helped me hang it and this is what we have.
This hangs so perfectly over our t.v. and added such fun to this kind of boring room. I am so happy with it. Thanks Mom and Dad.

5. It came to my attention that I haven't been as positive in my life as I need to be. So I am trying really hard to find the good in all situations. I always thought of myself as a happy person, until I was recently told otherwise. However, I am so thankful that this person told me because I am now more aware of things that I say and do and I try to look at the glass as half full.

I actually am pretty content in life right now, even though I am down a hand, it just means that Jeff gets to do more things around the house, and ladies.....I have to give him props. He was raised well!! He is so great and I am so lucky to have him as my BFF!! My life would never be the same without him.

6. This last one has sadness and excitement in it's tone. Jel and Ryan  are moving to Utah for a little while. I know that they will be back, but I am truly going to miss them and they're 2 adorable kids. Ryan is Jeff's younger brother and Jel was the one who introduced me to Jeff way back when. So I feel such I bond with them. I am going to miss the laughs, the jokes, the childish fighting between Ryan and Jeff, tofu jokes, salad jokes, etc... So Jel, if you read this, please know that I am going to terribly miss you all. I love your kids like they were my own. You are a great friend, and not to mention hair stylist too! I know it's only until October, but I am so excited for your family's new adventure. Good luck and I hope you get back here quick!!

I think those are the highlights. I have a goal to be better that this. Thanks for reading. I appreciate all of the little comments too, they mean a lot to me. So Thanks!

Turkeys, Mom's and Movies

So this past weekend Jeff went hunting these
and unfortunately did not catch anything. I feel bad because he was so excited to go. Not that I wanted the dead thing in my kitchen, but I was really wishing he would get something.
So usually when Jeff is gone I get to catch up on all of the movies that I know Jeff wouldn't like, so I decided that I was emotionally ready to watch this on Saturday night.
I have never cried so hard in a movie before. I was sitting on my couch, holding on to Chowder and sobbing as he was licking my face. Just as the movie was about to end, Jeff walks thought the door. He sees me sobbing and clutching Chowder and I am probably sure was ready to walk right back out the door, but thankfully for me, he stayed. He came home early and surprised me. Boy was he surprised!! So if you decide to watch this movie and you are sensitive to animals, be prepared. That is all I am saying. but I loved it. It was really good.
Also, I got to make dinner for my mom on Mother's Day and was so glad to be able to do that for her. She is so deserving of much more than that, but I know she was appreciative! I love my momma so much!!

Blessings...

I just want to say that I am LOVING these 2 guys right now. They make my life so awesome. I hate being one of those people that always posts about their dog, but oh well. Mock me if you must.

Good News:

I also had some good news a couple of weeks ago. As some of you may know, we have been trying to get pregnant for a while now and have been a bit unsuccessful. However, I went and saw the doctor and they are starting me on some progesterone and fertility stuff to move this process along! Apparently there is this thing called ovulation that my body was not aware of, who would have thought!! I am so excited. I am trying not to get my hopes up too high, but I am excited for what the next couple of months might bring!!
