Johnson Update

SO I thought I would provide a little bit of an update on the Johnson clan....we've been to girl's camp, Home shows, and everything else in between over the last few months. We are pretty much just pushing along, trying to get from one day to the next. But isn't that how it is for most people??
So, as I said, here is a picture of my new hair do!! It definitely looked WAY better when Jel did it, but I am all I have , so...Like I said, not much different, but I LOVE it. This was also at the end of the day, when my hair is not at it's peak performance, but this will have to do.

Here are some pics of one of my latest projects. We made these stinkin cute boards for mutual one night and I was SO darn proud of myself for being crafty!! Because if you know me and my family at all, my mom and sister are pretty much good at all things crafty and I didn't get those genes so much. But all it took was Pictures, scrapbook paper, modge podge and an old cabinet door!! Fun huh? It was SO easy to make that I am thinking of doing some Christmas gifts.

And I finally got my new bulletin board hung on the wall. I have been staring at it for a while and finally got it hung!!

Not much else is happening with us. Just working hard and trying to save money...I am really liking my new job, it's been 3 months, but I am really happy with the change! I work with some really great people!

On another fun note...I finally convinced Jeff it was okay to paint our bedroom and I found in a magazine exactly how I want it, so I am going to get my paint!! I can't wait to share that project with you all.. So that's it for now..

Nothing like a good haircut...

**Disclaimer** So I guess I made it sound like I made a big change to my hair, but all I really did was go a little shorter and a little darker. Nothing fancy. I just hadn't had my hair done in a while so it was sort of a big deal to me!!! I will put up a picture tonight, but I promise, nothing special!!**

So being placed on a tighter budget makes you realize all of the little pleasures in life that we take advantage of...i.e. getting your hair done.

I used to be one of those gals who always had to have their hair done every 6-8 weeks. So let me tell you...it had been about 3 months since I last had my hair colored and a little over 2 months since I had it cut. So yesterday I went and had my hair done and it felt SO good. I came home feeling like a million bucks. I kept saying to myself there is nothing like a good new hairdo that can bring you out of a funk and brighten your week.

So thanks to my extremely talented sister-in-law for the GREAT new color and hair cut. I feel like a brand new woman. When I can steal my camera back from my hubby, I will take a picture!!

And Friday I finally get to use my gift certificate for a mani/pedi!! I am gonna be looking good, so watch out!!
