Merry Christmas

So I will admit that I have been a bit behind, however here are some pics from Jeff's B-day up through Christmas. I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Christmas and all of your hopes and wishes came true!!

These are pictures of Jeff's birthday, Christmas at Jeff's parent's house, my tree, my new favorite ornaments that I added this year, also there are some of Chowder, he got some new toys for Christmas and his favorite, a peanut butter flavored bone!! The last ones are of my nephew Clark getting his first taste of Dr. Pepper. The kid kept coming back for more!! He is truly a Johnson man.

Simple Gifts

So, as you read in my last post, I have been slightly under the weather and MAJORLY stressing out about this whole Christmas Season. Yesterday, I found that straw that broke the camels back, or mine for that matter.

I was in our office looking for something and as I got up, I hit my head, rather hard I might add, on the corner of a shelf right above our desk. I broke down and just started to cry. I sat there sobbing for a good 10 minutes when my adoring husband came in and sat with me. He gave me a big hug and said to me, "listen, if nothing gets done for Christmas, it's okay, because we have each other, and that's the most important thing, right?"

I am SO thankful for him and this small little comment. It has completely changed my attitude towards for the rest of the season.

Jeff also, being the amazing man that he is, managed to clean our bathroom, because I have had zero energy to do so, and take me to dinner last night so I wouldn't have to cook.

I'm still not feeling 100%, but I think I can make it, and maybe have a good attitude about it too! I am so grateful for small and simple gifts!!

I feel like I'm falling apart...

This is what I'm feeling like today, except add a box of tissues and some good old vitamin C...I'm not even close to having my shopping done, I have a sore throat, the sniffles and some aches, and I am still working. This year, this month of December just has not gone the way I would have liked it to. I'm stressed and forgetting things, this is not a good preview of things to come!

I was sick last Christmas, on my birthday, sick on Thanksgiving so if I end up being sick again this Christmas, I will have come full circle!! Heaven Help Me!!

To all you bloggers who have children, I don't know how you do it.

So if you have advice for me on how to make it through Dec. 24th, please share!!

To my man..Happy Birthday Yesterday

I think I use this picture a LOT, but I like it so OH WELL. Yesterday, my man turned the big 31. Jeff got his birthday wish and had it rain all day and night yesterday! He got LOTS of fun stuff for his Camaro, which he is SO excited for. I will post some more pictures of his exciting gifts and his b-day party with the family.
I need to let the blogging world know how much I LOVE THIS MAN. Jeff is my best freind. I don't know what I would do in this world without him. He makes me smile and laugh whenever I'm having a bad day. Even though he is 7 1/2 years older than me, I think we fit together so perfectly. I hope Jeff had the greatest birthday and I love him SO much.
Happy Big 31 babe!!

What a weekend...

So this weekend has been a little jam packed, but it sure has been fun. Yesterday we took Jeff to the airport. he flew to Salt Lake to drive into Idaho to install a garage door for a friend. What a guy huh? It was raining and traffic was fun, but this is what I got to come home to.

This is my very WET dog!! I have never known a dog who likes to be wet and in the rain, that is why I LOVE my dog. He is like NO other dog out there. I brought him in, bathed him and got him all clean, and all night he was pawing at the door to go outside and play in the rain.

Then today, my soon to be sister-in-law, Lisa, had her bridal shower and here are a few pictures of some of the interesting outfits she received. Nothing like being embarrassed in front of your mom's friends and your grandma!! I am glad those days are over for me. But it was a great shower. Lisa made out like a bandit!!

So, I guess it wasn't all that jam packed because here I am on saturday night, alone, and blogging.
