The Daily Grind

I am alive, if anyone still reads this thing anymore.
(no pictures because I SUCK at picture taking and I have a somewhat boring life.)

Getting back on a working schedule is sure taking some getting used to. But I am so happy and lucky to have my job. I really like the people and what I am doing. I truly feel so blessed to have this job.
My hours of operation are different, 9-6 M-TH and 8-4 on Friday.
I have always worked like a 7-4 job so this is pretty new to me but I really do enjoy it.

Thanks to the fact that I have anxiety issues now, I have lost 10 pounds due to starting a new job. Hooray for small blessings coming out of hard things!! However, I went and saw my awesome doctor and she helped me out and gave me some good things to help me with that.

I took some advice from a really good friend and decided that instead of focusing on a baby, I decided to focus on Jeff and I.
What a difference it has made for me. We have been going to movies and hanging out and I have really enjoyed our new found time together and it has made not having a baby a little easier.

In other news, I am gaining a new sister-in-law. Jeff's little brother David got engaged on Saturday night to a great girl named Rena.
We are so excited for her to join our family!! I love weddings and I am so excited to be a part of hers!! She is so perfect for David so I can't wait.

Breathe

Ok,

So after my lovely week last week, I finally feel like I can breathe again. It kind of went from bad to worse, so I was overjoyed when last week decided it could end.

Poor Jeff had to deal with a lot of crap, but he did it with a smile and NEVER once complained about my bad attitude and hormonal freak outs!

I am working at a Physical Therapy Office in East Mesa. I started last monday and I really do enjoy it. It was hard to start a new job with all of the crap going on in my life last week, but I made it through and I am really happy.

The people are great and the patients are too.

I am a lot busier than I was 2 weeks ago and I am still trying to remember how to get up and go to work everyday, who would have thought it could be this tough?
Dinner has fallen off the list of to-do's for now because it is slightly ridiculous trying to make dinner after 6:30. But I am confident I will get the hang of this, I just need a little more time.

I am so blessed to have family and friends who care about me and make my life possible sometimes. Last week was pretty crappy, but this week looks good.

Thank you for all of your kind comments and words for inspiration, they do make a difference to me.

Having a "Day"

Do you ever have a sad face like this little guy?
Well I seem to have it on a certain day of the month, every month. If you catch my drift.
Because it usually means that there is no baby growing inside of me.
So that is what I got to deal with first off this morning.
I thought I did a pretty good job of shrugging it off and moving forward with my day.

Went to work
(I got another new job after I got the one from last week. It is full time and close to home and is amazing and wonderful and I am so very happy to have gotten it. More on that on another post)
Came home from work, couldn't figure out why I had been "uncomfortable" all day until I was getting undressed and realized that my tank top had been on backwards all day. Neat.
Had to deal with a messy Proactive issue. Was on hold for about 35 minutes to only be greeted by an extremely rude man that made me never want to use their product again. Only for them to tell me I had to pay to ship their crap back and I wouldn't be reimbursed for it. Neat.
Felt an ENORMOUS headache steadily approaching and decided to run to QT for a big caffeine fix and some much needed gum.
Went to QT, got my gum and drink, almost slipped and fell on their wet parking lot. Neat.
Came home only to realize I grabbed the wrong flavor of gum. Neat.
Jeff needed to go Home Teaching so I couldn't exchange my gum. Neat.
Jeff came home and I said that I really needed some french fries and a cheeseburger due to my retarded cravings because of my visiting friend, mentioned above.

I love these fries
and these burgers
So you know what my man did?
Yup, he went to both places just to try to make me smile.

Crisis averted and now I can go to bed bloated, crampy and happy.
