The Daily Grind

I am alive, if anyone still reads this thing anymore.
(no pictures because I SUCK at picture taking and I have a somewhat boring life.)

Getting back on a working schedule is sure taking some getting used to. But I am so happy and lucky to have my job. I really like the people and what I am doing. I truly feel so blessed to have this job.
My hours of operation are different, 9-6 M-TH and 8-4 on Friday.
I have always worked like a 7-4 job so this is pretty new to me but I really do enjoy it.

Thanks to the fact that I have anxiety issues now, I have lost 10 pounds due to starting a new job. Hooray for small blessings coming out of hard things!! However, I went and saw my awesome doctor and she helped me out and gave me some good things to help me with that.

I took some advice from a really good friend and decided that instead of focusing on a baby, I decided to focus on Jeff and I.
What a difference it has made for me. We have been going to movies and hanging out and I have really enjoyed our new found time together and it has made not having a baby a little easier.

In other news, I am gaining a new sister-in-law. Jeff's little brother David got engaged on Saturday night to a great girl named Rena.
We are so excited for her to join our family!! I love weddings and I am so excited to be a part of hers!! She is so perfect for David so I can't wait.

This may sound silly but you will find that by focusing on the two of you right now will help your relationship that much more when you are blessed with a baby. It was really hard for me at the beginning of Gus' life, I felt like I had been replaced and that Tyler just wanted him and not me (thanks to hormones too I'm sure) but once we got back to focusing on one another, and then Gus, things got so much better! You will already have that down!!

I lost weight too when I first started working again. Now they are training me in the cafe and I'm starting to gain it all back! oy! ;) Glad to see you are doing better. And yes, focus on you and your hubby because whenever a baby does come into your life, you're going to say remember when we were able to.....? ;)
