Thoughts

I just need a place to post some thoughts and feelings I have been having. Our family is going through some rough stuff and I just need to vocalize how truly grateful I am for family and for my testimony of the Gospel. It has helped me so much in the last couple of days. I have felt so close to the spirit and I know it is because of faith and prayers that I have felt such comfort. I am also grateful for my sweet husband. He is truly an amazing man and I am so grateful to have him and his family in my life!

A Gold Star

If I had a Star Chart in my house, Jeff would get a BIG one of these...

  

Yes, that is right. A Big Gold Star. He left me a cute little note in my truck last night so I would get it this morning when I drove to work. It was nothing fancy, just a little note scribbled on an old napkin to let me know that he loved me. I love it when he does little things like that for me. Makes me realize how lucky I am to have him!! Thanks for being a good husband Jeff. I love you!!

I'm Here...I promise

I have been just out of it. I don;t want to say bust, but I kind of felt that way. I have been working and sleeping and doing just stuff, you know? But I have been looking on Etsy lately, and Holy Cow!! Super cute stuff?!!!! Now if only I had money to spend...

Does this look like me or what?? I am getting some crazy ideas in my head....more to come later!

I am going to make good choices. I am going to choose to be happy, even when times are hard. I am going to make a conscience effort to be happy and live a full life. I am going to pray for my Heavenly Father's help to choose wisely.

Tribute to My Momma

I am a BIG Slacker, but I guess Late is better than Never...

Last Friday was my Momma's birthday. She Turned 29 again this year....so there is a lot to celebrate! She is not the type to spend money on frivolous things, so Saturday I picked her up and took us to get get Pedicures! What a blast that was! I am so excited to be bale to do that for her!

So in honor of her I am going to list some of my favorites about her!!! Here we go

She is the BEST listener. Whenever I need to vent or vocalize an idea, she is always there to hear me out!

She is an AMAZAZING COOK! Jeff wishes I could cook more like her, but I think I am going to need a lot more practice. 

 She is always good for a laugh. Every time I need someone to laugh at a joke or humor me she is right there. And I usually get to laugh with her.

She is an extraordinary seamstress! Yes that is right, even at my wedding she was prepared with a little sewing kit to fix any minor problems. She has recently started making Aprons and little baby Beanies that are really cute.

  

She has an ENORMOUS testimony and isn't afraid to share it. I think I gained my testimony for her and my dad, but growing up, I have never doubted her beliefs or values and she is really knowledgeable about Church history and the Scriptures. I will always look up to her for going on a mission.

 She is the reason I sing. I always felt like I got my voice from my mom. She always sang to us kids when we were little and I just know that it's because of her that I was given my singing talent. She can also play the piano and I think I got that from her as well.

And last but not least.....I am my mother, through and through. You know that saying that goes "I am my mother's daughter!" Well that is definitely true to form for me! And it's not a bad thing either. I wish I could be more like her in a lot of ways. I know I might poke fun at some of her weaker moments in life, but it is all because I know that I will soon be doing the same things.

Mom, I love you! You are an amazing woman, mother, and friend and I am quite positive I would never make it though this life without you! Happy Birthday and wishing you many more great ones to come!!

Alive??

Maybe...the jury is still deliberating on that one....but with happy news....I love that my Doctor works with the boys that play for the Chicago Cubs. It makes for very pleasent days having nice boys to look at all day!!! Thanks Dr. G!!!

J+C= Pain

Jenny + Clumsiness = SEVERE BACK PAIN....

That's right, I am admitting that I am retarded. My back was just starting to feel better from my inicident before Christmas and what did I decide to do? I decided to jam my back into the corner of the counter and wrench my back into a position I never thought was humanly possible!! So this morning and every morning from now on I am asking Heavenly Father to help me to not be clumsy because I am beginning to harm myself and it is really starting to hurt! I wish I could be more graceful!!

On a happier note... I had a great weekend, Saturday I got to play mommy for the day with little N. it was a BLAST! I never knew being a mommy was so great! Thanks to my sister for letting me and little N have a play date! I made my month!!

My letter is "T".........here are the things I love that begin with"T"!

 

1.  Tots....I love tater tots from Sonic!! Somehow those awesome little things bring me much pleasure.

2. Teaching….I absolutely love the Sundays that I get to teach YW’s. I feel like it’s more of a conversation sometimes, but I really have fun with it!

3. Touch….I love to be touched on the hand or on the back, I love the sense of touch! I love being able to reach my hand across my bed at night and being able to touch Jeff to know he is still there. I love the sense of touch!!

4. Tulips…..I love getting fresh Tulips. They are one of my most favorite flowers! They always look so happy and can always brighten my  day.

5. Text’s….I love it when Jeff will send me cute little text’s during the day. It’s like getting a little love note.

6. Turley’s…I love the Turley’s Bev and Newell are the most fun people to play hand and foot with! Bev makes the most Amazing food and Newell is not half bad at cooking either!! I love when I get to go over there and hang out!!

7. Trips….I love being able to take trips with my honey! It doesn’t matter where we go, as long as we are together!!

8. Target!!!!!!!!! I love this place. Everytime I go there I find al sorts of cute things and ideas that I love!!! Clothes, shoes, décor, you name it, they have it!

9. Talking….I love talking to my mom about my hopes and dreams and ideas. I love talking to Jeff about my day. I like having good people to talk to at work.

10. Toes….I loves my toes. It is the only part of my body that I can honestly say I love! I love getting pedicures to make them look polished and pretty. I love getting them rubbed. I like seeing them poke out of the sand on the beach!
