My letter is "T".........here are the things I love that begin with"T"!

 

1.  Tots....I love tater tots from Sonic!! Somehow those awesome little things bring me much pleasure.

2. Teaching….I absolutely love the Sundays that I get to teach YW’s. I feel like it’s more of a conversation sometimes, but I really have fun with it!

3. Touch….I love to be touched on the hand or on the back, I love the sense of touch! I love being able to reach my hand across my bed at night and being able to touch Jeff to know he is still there. I love the sense of touch!!

4. Tulips…..I love getting fresh Tulips. They are one of my most favorite flowers! They always look so happy and can always brighten my  day.

5. Text’s….I love it when Jeff will send me cute little text’s during the day. It’s like getting a little love note.

6. Turley’s…I love the Turley’s Bev and Newell are the most fun people to play hand and foot with! Bev makes the most Amazing food and Newell is not half bad at cooking either!! I love when I get to go over there and hang out!!

7. Trips….I love being able to take trips with my honey! It doesn’t matter where we go, as long as we are together!!

8. Target!!!!!!!!! I love this place. Everytime I go there I find al sorts of cute things and ideas that I love!!! Clothes, shoes, décor, you name it, they have it!

9. Talking….I love talking to my mom about my hopes and dreams and ideas. I love talking to Jeff about my day. I like having good people to talk to at work.

10. Toes….I loves my toes. It is the only part of my body that I can honestly say I love! I love getting pedicures to make them look polished and pretty. I love getting them rubbed. I like seeing them poke out of the sand on the beach!

Baby Nixon

As promised, here is my favorite newest nephew...Nixon David Call, born February 10, 2009

  

Here he is, in the NICU at Banner Gateway. He had some trouble breathing when he was first born, but I am happy to announce that he is home safe with his momma and dad. It almost broke my heart, watching him being hooked up to all those machines, but if I ever have a baby with problems, I would definitely want him to be in the NICU at Banner Gateway. All of the nurses there were incredible.

And this was the first time I got to hold him. We bonded instantly and I know we will be good friends forever!! I just love this little guy. It's so weird knowing my sister is a momma, but she is wonderful at it and I am a VERY proud Aunt!!

Watching this tiny little baby struggle was really hard for me, but it made me SO very thankful for all of the blessings I have. He is a little miracle and exactly what my family needed. Thanks K & D for bringing this little guy into our lives! I love him! LOTS!!

As a side note....root canal went okay. Found out that I have a fracture in the same tooth that I had root canaled and will need to have a crown placed on it. YEAH!! Even though that experience was not my most favorite one in life, I truly feel blessed because I received so many blessing during that little trial. I don't feel comfortable telling them to the public, but I wanted to publicly express my thankfulness. So glad I was in the right place to have the Lord teach me some things about life.

Alive....

I had an impromptu Root Canal last night....however, I do have some pictures of my GORGEOUS little nephew that I will share as soon as I am up to it.

My mouth hurts a lot right now, but I have some very nice pills that help me through!

What have I been up to???

***********Disclaimer*********** This post is not to make you sorry for me about not getting pregnant yet. I have come to terms with it and I know that someday I will be able to. I only said that because I didn't want a bunch of comments of people saying, well maybe you're pregnant!!!

This is chowder's new favorite spot. Because it has been so nice outside recently, when I get home from work I open up my back door. Chowder likes to lay inside and watch the "goings on" in his backyard. He is very funny!!

He likes to let his tongue hang out! I can honestly say I think I have the cutest dog EVER!!

My old iPod touch broke, so I went to the apple store and they gave me a replacement, which I wasn't expecting because my warranty was up. And I got solitaire on it and I play it... A LOT....especially while sitting on the couch being lazy!! I had a little cold at the beginning of the week but I finally feel like it is going away!! That is a BIG reason for the laziness.

I have been eating and craving lots of these 2. AS you can see the pan is almost gone. I have Jeff to help though! I'm not THAT bad. And no I'm not pregnant, I have been trying for the last 7 months and no luck, but I know the Lord is teaching me patience, so I will try to be patient.

This is one of the cutest little girls I know. I got to watch her last Sunday and I had a BLAST!!! She is too stinkin cute and I wish I could steal her sometimes!! She is a doll!!

And last but not least, I have been hanging with this little lady who should be delivering my nephew within the next week! All of us are SO totally excited we cannot contain our joy. These are a few pics of her friend baby shower we had. I am totally bad and didn't get any of the ones from my mom's and mine, but at least I have these, right? K is going to be the best momma and I can't wait to be the best aunt to my little Nixon!!!

I am only blogging for THIS LADY here....she told me I needed to blog, so I am...

I went to Enrichment tonight for the first time in what seems like forever, and learned about being prepared and having a 72 hour kit. IN my head they sound like great things to do, but I can never quite get motivated to do one. I guess when an emergency hits and I am dying of dehydration, I will be wishing I had one of those.... But my goal after tonight, is to get serious about food storage and my 72 hour kit!!! 

Since I don't really have a picture to go along with my top post.....

I want to thank you for your comments about my little rough patch. I am beginning to feel a little better and have started to work through some of my junk. I must add that my husband has been amazing to me. It really helps to have married my best friend. I don't know what I would do without him!! But one of the little things that can always makes me smile,  is this little guy...

 he is always there to give me loves and cuddles. I love my little pooch so much!! He is naughty... a lot... but I still love him and his quirky ways!!!

I have a baby shower this weekend for my sister...I am SO excited. I have had a lot of fun with my sister preparing for this little guy. 

I need.......AGH!!!!!!

 

Please don't be appalled about what you are about to read....I am having a pity party for everyone to read. But at least I can admit that, right?

Lately I have not been feeling like my self. I have ZERO motivation, ZERO desire and no thrill for life. Thank makes living each day hard. I am not saying this out loud to get people to feel sorry for me, I just needed to get it out of my system so that hopefully I can get rid of these stupid feelings! I feel sorry for myself a LOT and I know better. I feel alone and I have an amazing husband who would do ANYTHING to make sure I was happy.  I feel like sleeping ALL day would be a good activity for me. I AM SELFISH for feeling this way and I need a boost to jump start me into Happy Town! 

Ah...I feel a little better. But I need something to help me out of this little funk I am in.

Weekend Update

Yeah!! I have pictures!! Amazing...this is mostly for Aubry because she said I was lame...j/k

So we had a really good weekend, lots of fun, friends and food. 

So Friday, my amazing sister-in-law did my hair for me!!! We went a little darker and I LOVE IT!! She always envisions what I do. It's so fun! I got to play with her twins while I was there too and I love them tonz. They have so much personality!!

 

Here is a side shot of the new do! Ah!!!!! I feel like a woman again and my hair and I no longer have fights in the morning.

Friday night we went to dinner at the Turley's!! They are the most awesome people on earth and we always have so much fun together! They taught us how to play a new card game called Hand & Foot! The picture above is me being a sore loser because the boys beat us ever stinking time. Doesn't Jeff look so gloatful??!! We stayed up late and laughed and had the BEST ribs and twice baked potatoes!! Yummy!! Thanks Turley's!

So Saturday morning I woke up and got some stuff done, was getting ready to go to my sister's house to work on her baby shower invites... was in my office at the computer....decided I wanted to not pay attention and hit the shelf out printer sits on. I took the corner of the shelf and about passed out. I got woozy and sick to my stomach and have a pretty little bump on my forehead. Awesome! Made my day. I have a constant headache now. Sweet!!

 

So as I tried to recover, I drove to my sister's house to make some cute invites for baby Nixon!!!  Her printer was possessed and it took a lot longer than it should have, but we got them finished for the most part. I will be assembling tonight and mailing out tomorrow. Pretty cute huh?

Oh yeah, Bev Turley made this for me! Too cute!! See why I love her? Awesome.

 

Next, Jeff finished painting my room for me on Wednesday and I put my bedspread on and it turned out so great! I feel like I live in a new house! I LOVE the way it turned out!! Merry Christmas. Now I have to paint my bathroom, which will be a bit more challenging because of stripes, but I will keep you posted. The board on my bed is my transformed cupboard door that I have to hang above my bed!!! Yeah!!!

Then Saturday night we went to dinner with some friends and came back to our house and played our new found card game until 2am. Boy were we tired for church.

No post would be the same without Chowder!! I love my little dog. He is so fun!! So that's it!! Happy Weekend! I am so glad Monday is almost over, work today was a doozy. I would like to never repeat today again. Bring on Tuesday!!
