My Confession Monday

So thanks to Aubry who had this amazing idea, I decided to start a confession Monday's post each week. These posts are strictly for my views and opinions, sorry if you don't like what I have to say, but I am just trying to keep a little reality in my life. But please feel free to comment as long as it is not mean and nasty! Thanks!!

So here is my first go at it:

I HATE Exercising

Actually, I loathe exercising, but I hate feeling fat! I hate that I want to eat fattening things!

I know exercising works because I've done it and seen results, but I HATE it.

I hate that I hate it, because I know that my life would be a lot easier sometimes.

My pants would fit better, my shirts would too! But I just can't bare the thought of it.

I hate having to work so hard to stay fit.

It's a conscience battle every day of my life.

However, I know this is something I desperately need to work on. Not only because it's a health issue, but because it's a Self-Esteem issue too!! I am much happier when I am in shape!

One of the cutest girls ever, Aubry, works with me and she took some cute photos on my birthday!!

Here is the amazing Brownie cake that Natalie made! It was truly divine! And then Nixon made me some Yummy peanut butter cupcakes. (Actually it was Kristy that made them, but Nixon brought them to me)!!!

Birthday Festivities

So 25 turned out not to be so bad. I do feel somewhat old and kind of like I can't act young anymore. I feel oober accountable for my actions, not like I wasn't before, but you know what I mean, right?

So Jeff took me out to the Cheesecake Factory and Bev made sure to tell me to take pictures of everything, so here you go...

 Appetizer, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, one of my favs 

 Jeff chose to eat the bread instead because he was not such a fan of the dip! 

 I got this breaded chicken that was supposed to have a light lemon sauce, but let me tell you, it was ALL lemon. So I had them take it back and give me a type of creamy cheesy garlic sauce that was MUCH better and made me really happy. I wasn't going to get cheesecake, but decided to do so at the very last minute, so I forgot to take a picture, but it was the White Chocolate Raspberry truffle and my favorite besides pumpkin. MMMMMM. Then we were going to go see a movie, but I had an incredible headache, so we came home, watched a little TV and I went to bed.

Friday night we celebrated with my parents and my mom made me the CUTEST gift EVER!!!! I know you will all want one when you see it.

 Isn't this the cutest Apron you have ever seen in your life? I LOVE IT!!! Thanks Mom, you are truly a genius when it comes to sewing and making things!! Can't you just see me totally mopping my floor wearing this? Now I need some matching High Heels!!

My parents also gave me a cute polka dot spoon rest,

And my cute sister made this frame for me and put in my most favorite quote from Audrey Hepburn,  and I LOVE IT!!

So thanks to all for your sweet birthday wishes. Oh yeah and my In-Laws gave me money to get a pedicure! Sweet!!

I am 25 today!!!!

I got a pre-birthday massage last night and now I feel even older than that!!!!

California Dreamin

Today is my last day of work before I leave for California!!! I have never been som excited for a much needed vacation. Jeff and I are gonig to Cali to hang out and have fun with my parents!!! I can't wait!!! I am so excited to lay on the beach and read and get a tan and take some fun pictures!!!

Food Love

Jeff and his buddy had a bet going for a couple of months seeing who could loose the most weight. Well the person who lost the least had to buy dinner at Ruth's Chris for each other and their wives. Well I threatened Jeff with his life if he didn't win because we can't really afford a dinner that ridiculously priced. And much to my satisfaction, Jeffy won!! Congrats babe, I knew you could do it all along!

So last Thursday we got all gussied up and headed out to Scottsdale for what was the most amazing meal of my life!! Can I just say, HOLY COW!!! This place was amazing!! Even the water was good! We ate like Kings and came home incredibly stuffed and overly satisfied. Thanks to Pat & Cami, our generous hostesses, who so lovingly paid for it all! We had a great time and are praying for a bonus just so we can go back. So 100% worth the money!

I realized today what a strong word it is. I came to the realization today that I have so much love for so many things. I need to focus on the love in my life. For some reason, I am crying right now as I type this. I feel love. What do you feel?
