Weekend Ramblings

Friday afternoon Jeff packed up my truck and his toys and off he went Turkey Hunting... He desperately tried for 3 days to shoot one of these stupid things...

but unfortunately he came home empty handed...

So with Jeff being gone all weekend, he left me to fend for myself. He took my truck and made me drive this ...oh yes, that is the bitchin camaro...it wouldn't have been so bad had it not stalled on me 4 times during my weekend travels. I had to take Chowder to the groomers in it on Saturday and let's just say it's not his favorite ride either....but we shaved Chowder down for the summer and you might think he looks kind of silly, but I still think he's adorable... ...so after Saturday was all over and done with, I was feeling kind of sorry for myself being childless and husbandless, then my sweet sister-in-law Lisa and brother-in-law Andy called me and asked me to go to Texas Roadhouse with them, and boy was it some Yummy food!!

Afterwards I had a weak moment and went to Target and bought myself a mother's day gift...

they look exactly like these, only they are Giraffe print and I LOVE them!! I wore them to Church on Sunday, by myself, and felt like a million bucks. I will try to remember to take a picture of my shoes because I couldn't find them online.

Jeff came home early Sunday afternoon and boy was I grateful because I hate being alone in my house and I missed him a lot....it's just not fun when he's gone!
